Bree Mccann: ‘Plus-size Is Outdated'

The trailblazing Aussie model is more in demand than ever

Make no mistake, Bree McCann is seriously hot property at the moment. She’s conquering the world as an international model, and has just been named Fossil’s first ever Australian ambassador. Bree also bought a house in Noosa last year with her husband Mitch, whom she married in January.

After living in New York for six years, the Brisbane-born beauty returned home last December. ‘I was a little bit hesitant coming back to Australia because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to work that much,’ explains Bree. ‘In the beginning, in Australia, they were a bit slow to adapt so I had to go overseas to get work.’

But a lot can change in a few years. Now the model is working harder than ever! And as the Australian fashion industry increasingly embraces more body types, she’s proud to help lead the way.

Here, Bree talks OK! through her health mottos, the ‘plus-size’ label and why she’s happier than ever to be back in Oz.

What’s your favourite way to stay fit?

My favourite workout would be surfing, but if I can’t get to the water then I like to go for long walks and that’s where I use my Fossil watch. I’ll use Google Fit to go for two-hour beach walks, and that’s one of my favourite ways to relax.

Do you prefer an outdoor sweat session or working out indoors?
