Struggling with his estrangement from the royal family and weary of being branded a henpecked husband, Harry was close to giving up on Meghan and her Hollywood dreams to return to England, a well-placed source revealed exclusively.

“Homesick Harry put on a brave public face, but he was like a rudderless ship, desperately trying to find a safe port in the storm,” dished the source. “For him, that was back in the U.K. with his royal relatives and his military buddies. He feels like a fish out of water among Meghan’s Hollywood friends. They had tearful fights about his family and leaving Britain, which drove a wedge between them.

“The miscarriage they suffered last summer sent Harry into a tailspin and I believe their marriage was teetering on the brink.”

But former “Suits” star Meghan, 39, begged Harry, 36, not to do anything drastic, added the source.

“I’m told she urged him to think about their son, Archie, who Harry adores, and promised she’d have another child ASAP,” spilled the source.

“Meghan said that would give their marriage a new start and also help melt their icy rift with Queen Elizabeth, which got worse after they quit their royal duties last year.
