New global panic over most contagious virus yet

FUELED by an aggressive new viral mutation, surging cases of COVID-19 have triggered widespread panic, rattled the stock market and sparked fresh fears the coronavirus pandemic may never be conquered!

The fast-spreading Omicron variant — also known as B.1.1.529 — was first flagged late last month in South Africa, which reportedly saw cases in people previously infected or double-vaccinated!

In fact, the World Health Organization said compared to other strains, there was “preliminary evidence” suggesting an increased risk of reinfection with Omicron for those who’d managed to recover from earlier versions of the dangerous virus.

Doctors consulted by The National ENQUIRER said the virus has already shown signs of being resistant to vaccination and another lockdown is not a viable answer!

“Many Americans are terrified the highly touted as effective as previously thought,” said New York internist Dr. Stuart Fischer. “And another lockdown would be a logistical nightmare presenting even more unwanted problems!”

The deadly new scourge has already spilled across international borders into at least 20 nations, including the United States, Hong Kong, Belgium, Israel, Italy, Australia, the U.K. and Canada!

Government officials — including President Joe Biden — have imposed travel bans as they attempt to halt the march of the unforgiving plague.
