Winter is coming... for the last time. NW gets the lowdown from Game Of Thrones’s biggest stars on the epic finale season, and it’s set to be a killer – literally!

“There’s a lot of death this year,” says Maisie Williams of Season Eight, which sees Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) join Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Arya Stark (Maisie) at Winterfell, where the North prepares to go up against the fearsome Night King.

“[Daenerys] starts feeling pretty cocksure and confident,” spills Emilia, who says her character arrives on the scene with all guns blazing. “And then stuff happens... ”
