Third Time’s the Charm for Katy

More than three years have passed since Orlando Bloom slipped a flower-shape engagement ring on Katy Perry’s finger on Valentine’s Day in 2019. But now, after two failed attempts to marry — first, Katy’s pregnancy with daughter Daisy Dove, 18 months, delayed their plans; then the coronavirus pandemic put things on hold — they’re hoping the third time’s the charm.

“Every couple of months it’s like, ‘New variant! New variant!’ ” Katy recently explained of the latest postponement, although she admitted to having a “destination location” in mind. Now Life & Style can confirm that both a place and a date have been locked down. The American Idol judge, 37, and the actor, 45, will wed “this summer,” reveals a source. “They went back and forth on so many locales, they almost gave up. But it’s decided — Katy and Orlando want to tie the knot in Italy.”
