The Prison Break star doesn’t mind playing baddies as long as they’re wellwritten ones.

HE’S BEST KNOWN AS… the charismatic American character actor who’s frequently cast as the sociopathic heavy in movies (Transporter 3, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back) and on TV shows (Heroes, Cult). He shot to fame playing ruthless killer Theodore ‘T-Bag’ Bagwell (the one who got his left hand chopped off) on Prison Break, a role which he recently reprised for the revival series Prison Break: Resurrection. This time, Wentworth Miller's escape expert Michael Scofield is back from the dead, and stuck in a lock-up in war-torn Yemen.
Knepper is also on the latest seasons of Homeland and iZombie. “I love working on iZombie,” Knepper tells us over the phone from Atlanta, where he's shooting a movie. “[Creator] Rob Thomas is very funny with his sardonic wit; he wrote some great s***. Also, I love zombies,” he says, with a laugh.
WHAT’S HE UP TO NEXT: The highly anticipated Twin Peaks: Return, the follow-up to the 1990s cult show starring Kyle MacLachlan.
