Mission Digital

Have you ever wondered why ‘digital marketing’ is one of the top searched keywords on the Google list? And why 3 out of 8 “Most in demand skills in India 2018” are in digital marketing. As Devendra Singh, Founder & CEO, DigitalMantra, says, “Digital marketing is the need of the hour. The thrust of the business is enormous. Ignoring digital marketing is like opening a business but not telling anyone”.” The founder is an IIM Calcutta Alumni and has been a part of Digital Marketing since 2010 and introduce himself as marketing Mafia. As of now, digital marketing stands as a booming career option for the youth in India. It has been successful in making a strong impact in the real world with some of the most striking features like instant response, cost-effectiveness, convenience, flexibility and efficacy. Consider this: according to a report on digital advertising by Dentsu Aegis Network, the Indian digital advertising industry, currently pegged at around Rs 8,202 crore, is slated to see a growth at 32% CAGR to reach Rs 18,986 crore by 2020.

The report also forecasts that digital media spends, currently sharing 15% of the total advertising pie, will reach 24% of the entire market by 2020. The enormous opportunity in the space has therefore prompted many an entrepreneur to take a plunge into this sector. One of the players is DigitalMantra (a brand of Sanfran DigitalMantra Pvt Ltd). The brand, which is powered by IIM Alumnus and Digital Company, has an edge over others as the founders have had a long stint in this segment and have been a part of the industry’s progression. “We are hard core marketers from a digital background. We have burnt our hands and obtained first-hand experience of digital marketing,” he says.
