'Feed the Daily Wager' Campaign: An Initiative by India Food Forum in Association with Zomato Feeding India

As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak in India and the subsequent lockdown, the country is in midst of a crisis and in this current situation, unorganised labourers are facing severe financial and essential items crunch. India Food Forum launched ‘Feed the Daily Wager’ Campaign’, an initiative in association with Zomato Feeding India aims to help India’s migrant/ daily wagers who don’t have access to a reliable supply of meals in the absence of immediate employment opportunities.

Brands like Cornitos, Dukes India, Goldiee Group, Bisleri International Pvt Ltd, and Paras Spices Pvt Ltd supported this initiative.

Tell us how are you supporting migrant workers?

Vikram Agarwal, Managing Director, Cornitos: Cornitos has joined hands with Zomato Feeding India and India Food Forum’s ‘Feed the Migrant Workers in Transit’ campaign. The brand will be helping migrant workers who are in transit and don’t have access to proper ration and food. Through this campaign, Cornitos would like to do its bit to help the country overcome this difficult time and get a smile on the face of the workers who have faced the brunt of time.
