Capgemini has a significant focus on Digital and Cloud technologies. The increasing demand for SMAC technologies is also changing the skill needs of the organization. Today, the niche skills to regular skills ratio has changed significantly. Around two years ago, the niche technology demand was around 15-20%, whereas today, with so many complex technology platforms and architectures, the niche demand is above 50% of the total demand. Hence, the way we acquire talent and the right skillsets has changed. The macro environment and the resulting talent demand environment made us look at a technology-enabled hiring approach in a big way. The millennials were posing additional challenges in the way one needs to look at hiring.
