Saudi Signs 35 Agreements With China Worth $28bn

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman cemented a $10bn deal for a refining and petrochemical complex in China – one of 35 agreements worth $28bn between the two contries.

A Saudi delegation, including executives from state-owned oil company Saudi Aramco, visited China on an Asia tour that also saw the kingdom pledge investment of $20bn in Pakistan and seek to make additional investments in India’s refining industry.
The 35 economic cooperation agreements were signed at a joint investment forum during the visit, Saudi state news agency SPA said.
“China is a good friend and partner to Saudi Arabia,” Chinese President Xi Jinping told the crown prince in front of reporters.
