Fortune India’s coveted Most Powerful Women In Business is not just the only ‘ranking’ among a host of ‘listings’, it is also a finely curated annual exercise that takes nearly three months to complete.

It is the only study that calls for participation by shortlisted women leaders to submit a detailed response to Fortune India’s questions, giving them an opportunity to elaborate on their achievements. This 11th year of the ranking is particularly different as we added yet another layer of credibility and independence to the process by inviting a high-powered jury to deliberate on the submissions before arriving at the Top 50.
