The US government has announced a variety of measures to encourage farmers to introduce double-cropping on their farms.

US President Joe Biden's administration is planning to extend crop insurance coverage to provide financial security to farmers who practise double-cropping.
During a visit to Jeff O'Connor's farm near Kankakee in Illinois, Biden received a first-hand introduction to double-cropping on the 324ha operation, the Successful Farming website reported.
