The current floods and threat of yet more rain to come have left many people across KwaZuluNatal and the Eastern Cape feeling anxious and overwhelmed. Some flood victims have been left homeless, while others are still dealing with waterlogged buildings and businesses.

For those struggling to remove excess standing water in hard-to-reach places, Johan Kruger, national sales manager for Husqvarna South Africa, offers some advice: "Being prepared is half the victory.
