During the 30 months of Narendra Modi-led NDA government in the Centre, the biggest push has been given to the infrastructure sector. The government’s target is ₹25 trillion investment in infrastructure sector over a period of three years. This will include ₹8 trillion for developing 27 industrial clusters and an additional ₹5 trillion for road, railway and port connectivity projects.
