March 4, 2011, was a milestone when Mapei started its journey in India. With just 4-5 mem-bers, Mapei set up its first manufacturing unit in Bangalore. In 2021, Mapei India celebrates its 10th anniversary.

JOURNEY SO FAR

Mapei first opened its manufacturing facility in Bangalore in 2011 and then, because of the increase in business in other areas of India, the second manufacturing facility at Vadodara, Gujarat, in 2016. The third plant is expected to be operational in 2022 at Kosi, UP. Mapei India currently has offices/sales and technical representatives of over 160+ people. The technical services department works along with architects, contractors, consultants, interior designers, etc.
