The 8th Annual Metro Rail India Summit saw industry stalwarts deliberating on the way forward for urban mobility across the country
Over the last seven years, Construction Week has being gathering meticulous research to assem-ble the Annual Metro Rail India Summit for the country’s metro rail community. This year saw the 8th edition of the event take place at The Lalit, New Delhi, on March 14. During the day-long event, metro rail operators, contractors, systems providers and consultants deliberated on important facets of the metro rail industry through panel discussions, presentations and delegate interactions.
Bibhor Srivastava, group publishing director, ITP Media (India), welcomed the gathering in his opening address. This was followed by a presentation from Rahul Deshpande, VP, operations, Blue Star, wherein he outlined the HVAC major’s history, its governance structure and vision. In addition, he highlighted the business segments that Blue Star operates in, as well as its complete product range and the projects undertaken in the metro rail sector. Deshpande also spoke of the company’s efforts in carrying out intelligent engineering and modern execution practices towards superior project delivery.
