THE ROLE OF DESIGN

There is more to architecture and design that goes farther than creating functional spaces – it understands the ethos of the work culture and its processes and is also in tune with the structure’s day-to-day operations. While designing a workplace, a common belief with the designers is that creativity and innovation should not be constrained into typical ideas of the office: within modular workstation units, typical false ceilings, and partitions, etc. However, the architecture of contemporary workspaces, with its emphasis on efficiency and clarity in design, at times fails to appreciate the culture inherent to a workspace. Focused on getting the job done, these offices fail to realise the human element in work. The beauty in the design ideologies that shape the core of RSP Design Consultants India and the projects executed by them is that it ensures the workplace not only caters to the individualistic needs of the members but also scores high on functionality and building up team participation.

How has RSP been harnessing the power of technology in its design processes?
