ESTABLISHED IN 1981 by Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) trust and a generous donation from Narsee Monjee Educational Trust, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is a deemed management institute of the University of Mumbai.

Since its inception, NMIMS has grown into a flourishing university, offering courses and programmes across various disciplines such as management, technology, science, pharmacy, architecture, commerce and economics. Today, the institute has over 5,000 students and more than 430 permanent and 200 visiting faculty members. The faculty at the institute is an eclectic mix of industry and academic as well as national and international experiences.
