“We Are Seeing An Increased Demand For Healthcare Solutions In Asia Pacific”

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. and the world’s largest express transportation company, recently, has launched an industry leading temperature-controlled cold chain shipping solution in the Asia Pacific. The innovative Medpak VIoC solution provides superior temperature integrity, greater convenience and higher cost efficiencies to healthcare customers shipping temperature-sensitive shipments. In the Asia Pacific, Medpak VI°C is available to customers in Japan, Korea and Singapore. The Medpak VI°C solution is a high performance reusable thermal packaging, which comes with energy efficient Vacuum Insulated Panels (VIP) and Phase Change Material (PCM) validated to ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) 7D standards. The packaging provides 96-hours temperature stability in case of unforeseen contingencies, a critical aspect for temperature-sensitive pharma shipments.

What spectrum of solutions does FedEx Healthcare Priority (FHP) include in Asia Pacific?

With aging populations, the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases and increased urbanization, we are seeing an increased demand for healthcare solutions in Asia Pacific as healthcare products require particular care and attention.

FedEx Healthcare Priority (FHP) addresses these requirements with a spectrum of solutions. To safeguard the integrity of healthcare products during shipment, FHP provides specialized packaging and temperature-controlled shipping solutions, which allows customers to ship biogenetics, clinical samples, medicines and biomaterials at a consistent temperature for up to 10 days.

Quantum Computing: Future of diagnostics is being coded today

A silent revolution is being built at the intersection of biology and quantum physics. After decades of pushing the boundaries of diagnostics with advanced imaging and AI, we are now approaching a hard computational wall. For complex conditions like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and many cancers, the interacting variables of genomics, proteomics, and real-world patient data are simply too vast for classical computers to master. This limitation caps the ability to move from merely spotting correlations to uncovering true causation. Unlike traditional AI, quantum computing can simulate underlying physical systems to derive precise solutions. The transition from correlational analysis to causal simulation will enable a more valuable and advanced frontier in diagnostics.
