Malavika Mohanan is an Indian Film Actress who made her debut in 2013 with the Malayalam film Pattam Pole starring opposite Dulquer Salman. Her role as Varalakshmi in the Kannada film. Naanu Mattu Varalakshmi brought her appreciation from crticis and movie buffs alike. Mohanan's breakthrough as an actress came through her role as Tara, a poor girl from Mumbai's dhobi ghat area, in Majid Majidi's 2017 drama film, Beyond the Clouds. The following year she featured in the Tamil movie Petta starring opposite. Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. She is all set to romance Siddhant Chaturvedi in a Ravi Udayawar film.

2020 I thought was a much-needed break but now I feel this needs to end. It's heartbreaking looking at people losing their loved ones. I also can't wait to get back to work. Sitting at home can take a toll on mental health. Though it's the safest thing to do.
