Boy meets Girl- “We go way back to when I was in school and a tom-boy though out my childhood, I never dated or even quite understood the concept of dating! I first heard of Akram through my sister, they had common friends and I remember seeing his tinted cars cross my house a couple times but I doubt he saw me. I was surprised to get a Facebook friend request from him but without giving much thought, I accepted it. We started texting and eventually talking on the phone. After a year of conversation, we decided to meet. This was in my first year of college and he comes to meet me, surprises me with a huge bouquet of roses and I didn’t know how to react, this was so new for me!

One day, he confessed that he liked me and as flattered and smitten as I was, I didn’t know anything about dating. But the feelings grew stronger over the next 2-3 months and on my birthday I told him that I liked him too.
