Superyacht Showdown In Monaco

AN ESTIMATED 40 NEW BUILDS will exhibit at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, which is again expected to feature about 120 superyachts and 590 exhibitors, and attract about 36,000 visitors. The third edition of the Monaco Yacht Summit on September 25 will precede the four-day show, which will be held from September 26-29.

Megayachts on display will include the 69m custom-built Spectre by Italy’s Benetti, arguably the world’s most prolific superyacht builder.

Amels will be showing the 55m Eji and 57m Volpini 2 (see Special Feature) as well as the 55.5m Power Play from mother company Damen, while fellow Dutch shipyard Heesen will showcase its 51m blue-hulled, custom-built Irisha.

Italy’s CRN will exhibit the 50m Latona (see Special Feature), while fellow Ferretti Group builder Custom Line will exhibit its new Navetta 42 following the yacht’s world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival earlier in the month.
