There are far more race tracks out there than you might have imagined, but, which one is the best?

Deciding which is the world’s best race track ought to involve driving on all of them. Then I wondered how many circuits there are worldwide. I guessed low-hundreds but I was wrong. Google lists thousands; too many to count let alone visit. I have driven on about 40 race circuits, which I thought was a lot, but in reality, is a miniscule percentage.

Then I researched which circuit is considered the best by general online consensus. Feelings varied, although many of the same circuits appeared on different lists. Choosing the best is subjective as personal preferences are involved.
