Santa pod was once again rammed with Japanese metal as the popular Japshow event kicked off in style.
The weather gods were smiling on Santa Pod on Sunday the 9th July and the legendary quartermile strip was bathed in the kind of conditions that make for record breaking times – dry and warm but not too hot to negatively affect turbo performance. Of course, the 9th was not just any old Sunday, as it was the date for 2017’s Japshow event. Japshow is always a good event to attend with a mix of metal from full-on drag warriors ripping up the strip to just about every make and model of Japanese performance machine scattered in the club stands, which sprawl out in a never ending sea of splitters and spoilers at the side of the strip.
