Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Rally Edition Unveiled

Yamaha have unveiled the Ténéré 700 World Rally edition with more off-road and long-distance capabilities to commemorate Stéphane Peterhansel's 1993 Dakar race bike and to celebrate 40 years of the Ténéré.

THE NEW TÉNÉRÉ 700 WORLD RALLY represents the ultimate version of Yamaha's long-distance adventure bike and can trace its heritage back to the very beginning of the world's toughest race. Yamaha won their first-ever Dakar Rally in 1979 with the XT500 ridden by Cyril Neveu and, over the four decades following that victory, Yamaha went from strength to strength with Stéphane Peterhansel at the helm.
