NEXA FLAGSHIP GETS MORE AGGRESSIVE LOOKS AND A PLUSHER CABIN.

Maruti S-Cross

Maruti’s dream of getting rid of the small car maker tag has been realised to a great extent now. The nation has accepted the fact that Maruti can truly make luxurious and premium cars, and cars that look and feel like most premium European ones. One thing that helped Maruti achieve this goal was the Nexa retail chain. Over the past couple of years that the Nexa chain has been active, it’s got plenty of momentum and has managed to sell thousands of cars, with an identity that’s distinct from the manufacturer’s regular retail chain.

However, of the four cars in the Nexa portfolio, one hasn’t really worked too well – the S-Cross. To begin with, the pricing was deemed a little too on the higher side and turned away a lot of buyers. Then, there’s the styling – too similar to that of the SX4 – which didn’t really work in its favour. But now, Maruti has taken some measures to change that and what we’ve got is an updated model.
