Triumph Trident revealed

Triumph’s most inexpensive motorcycle has been revealed. Powered by a new (ish) 660cc triple-cylinder motor the Trident will make it to India in 2021. Dipayan Dutta tells you everything you need to know about this roadster!

Triumph’s Trident made waves earlier this year when the Hinckley based motorcycle manufacturer announced their entry in the entry-level 600cc segment with a roadster. The 660cc triple-motor has been derived from the same 675cc triple that was used in the Daytona and will allow Triumph to reach out to a more mass-market audience. Triumph says they will launch the Trident globally early in 2021 and as for the Indian market one can hope for a launch by mid-next year. The Trident nameplate has surfaced for the second time in the annals of history, the first as an iconic triple-cylinder classic motorcycle, now Triumph will attempt to recreate the magic of the Trident nameplate. Except for this time, the Triumph Trident will try to recreate the magic of the Trident as a contemporary roadster.
