Model SX+ 1.0 Turbo GDi DCT
Joining the Auto Today fleet this month is the Hyundai Venue with the newest engine in the Hyundai India range. Yes our Venue is powered by the first of the turbo-charged petrol direct injection engines in the Hyundai portfolio in India. There have ofcourse been other petrol turbo DI engines in the past in the country, notably from the Volkswagen Group and the premium car makers and lately from Maruti as well but the first of these engines in the sub-4m SUV category was the ecoboost engine from Ford and that had quickly acquired a reputation for being a guzzler. So it will be interesting to see what sort of fuel efficiency we manage to get on the
