PRACTICALITY is key for many owners, which is why cars with big boots and lots of clever storage options are so popular. Increasingly, models today come with clever straps, hooks and panels in the boot to help keep items in place when driving.
Finding out that your car doesn’t offer such features is disappointing, especially if they’ve been highlighted in the handbook. To not be able to order the parts afterwards is even more irritating – something Alan Bradshaw, of Burgess Hill, West Sussex, experienced when he found his new 2016 Skoda Rapid was missing the boot hooks and panels as shown in his owner’s manual.
