FIRSTDRIVE Special-edition family hatch adds kit and style tweaks
THERE’S an all-new Mazda 3 on the way, but the existing model still has about a year left to run. To maintain momentum, the Japanese brand is trotting out the special-editions until the next-generation family car arrives.
The latest effort is the Mazda 3 Sport Black, a limited-run special that brings extra kit and styling tweaks. It’s based on the 2.0-litre SE L Nav car and is only available as a hatchback. This version gets a jet-black roof spoiler and door mirrors, a choice of metallic paint schemes and 18-inch dark alloys.
In addition to the regular car’s spec, a reversing camera, LED headlights and keyless entry are included.
