FORMULA One could hold a street race in Miami, Florida as early as next season. The city’s commission last week announced a vote would be held on whether to pursue the possibility with the sport’s owner, Liberty Media.
A subsequent statement issued on the official F1 website said: “The City of Miami Commission took an important step by adding an item to their agenda that, if approved, will make way to bring F1 to downtown Miami next season.
