ABC Bearings Rolls Ahead To Meet Growing Demand
Auto Components India
|December 2017
ABC Bearings Limited, leader in engineered bearings and mechanical power transmission products, is working on low-viscosity oils and compact, lightweight designs for automotive transmissions and differential gears. The Mumbai headquartered company is specialised in manufacturing tapered, cylindrical and spherical roller bearings, and slewing rings.
In order to cut down the automobile fuel consumption, ABC Bearings is working on to develop a new kind of bearings. The sizes of bearings used in transmissions and differential gears have been getting much smaller, and as a result, the need to ensure the bearing life and rigidity has been increasing. To address this challenge, it has developed a unique high-load capacity, compact tapered roller bearing that has a usage life just as long as traditional bearings.
The company operates primarily from the manufacturing facilities in Bharuch, Gujarat, and Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It serves an established original equipment customer base in India, focusing on heavy truck and off-highway industries.
