|January - February 2017
The King of the Hammers competition, held within the first week of February of every year, has become the event that every off road enthusiast looks for in anticipation to see which team across the world can finish the longest and toughest single day off-road race in the United States of America.

Outside the Dakar Rally, the Baja 1000, and other races around the world, this is quickly becoming the event that proves what true teamwork can accomplish. In 2011, Hammerking productions approached Will Gentile and HeavyMetalConcepts to put together a movie about this event. Starting with The Valley of the Kings in 2011, following up with Rise of the East in 2012, Vindication the next year, and so on, Will Gentile and his team brought the experience of the event to the homes of the people who were unable to attend the event and to those who made it to the event but wanted to experience the thrills again. Each year, the movies served as a stunning recap of the event highlighting day events such as the SRRS vs. Ultra4 Shootout, King of the Motos race, the Smittybilt Every Man Challenge, and the UTV race that began two years ago. At times, some enthusiasts complained about various events being left out of the movie while others complained about why other teams were not highlighted in the video. Easily it could be stated that with the highs, came the lows but HeavyMetalConcepts kept with their game plan. Each year, the movie produced was better than the last in terms of production, storytelling, and footage of areas that spectators could not reach.
