The Content-Aware Fill command works by rebuilding parts of your image, helping you remove unwanted objects, improve messy details or tidy up a composition. The feature has been a part of Photoshop for some time, and it’s been improved over time with extra features.

Originally, you would make a selection and then use Content-Aware Fill, with Photoshop determining what to remove by analysing the rest of the frame and generating new pixels based on the content of the image.
