Curves & Corners For The Ultimate Clubhouse
Perspective
|May 2017
Located in Homantin on the Kowloon peninsular, Ultima — a new residential project from Sun Hung Kai Properties — saw luxury hospitality design firm Hirsh Bedner & Associates draw inspiration from sweeping Victoria Harbour views to dream up a clubhouse fit for the crème de la crème.
A highly desirable residential area for its winning combination of convenience and tranquility, Homantin, located on Hong Kong’s Kowloon peninsular, has long been a favourite among elite home-buyers. Here, Ultima — a new flagship residential project from leading local developer Sun Hung Kai Properties — recently unveiled a clubhouse designed by Hirsh Bedner & Associates (HBA).
Set in a prime hillside location, Ultima affords its residents breathtaking views of the famous Victoria Harbour, which proved fundamental to the design. According to Mathew Lui, partner at HBA Hong Kong, the plan drew inspiration from exquisite lines and curves of a luxurious yacht sweeping across the dazzling harbour, a concept which was further explored through the selection of luxurious materials and intricate details to result in a lavish, elegant and sophisticated design.
