Haoyun Erin: Zhao Changing Paths

Growing up in China, I lived with my grandfather who was an academic. He was excellent at Chinese calligraphy and inspired me to study calligraphy and traditional Chinese brush painting.

As early as I can remember, I have always been drawing, painting and creating. I was very lucky that my grandfather not only inspired me, but also supported my study of art. With this support, I started taking art classes when I was 7 years old, and after graduating from high school at age 17, I moved to the United States to further my education.
