From Basel to Miami, the annual Audemars Piguet Art Commission supports contemporary artists for three years in a row.
-

Since 2015, the Audemars Piguet Art Commission has supported the creation of contemporary artwork that emphasizes the visual and conceptual expression of complexity and precision. Three emerging or mid-career artists are invited as contenders to the luxury watchmaker’s home in the Swiss Jura Mountains to learn about the brand’s 140-year tradition of expert craftsmanship and innovation before one is chosen for the Art Commission. This year, the jury of international art experts and Audemars Piguet representatives selected LA-based artist Lars Jan as the commission winner.
