Located in Sarfannguit, a cultural landscape in West Greenland and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2018, the Qaammat pavilion was designed and built by Swedish architect Konstantin Ikonomidis in cooperation with UNESCO and the Qeqqata Municipality

It was created to celebrate the Inuit intangible cultural heritage and traditional knowledge of the environment.

The location was chosen for its impressive view over the Sarfannguit municipality. Completed in 2021, this installation serves as a landmark as well as a gathering point and dissemination site.
