A passionate love for wildlife comes alive in the captivating brush strokes of Sushma Jain.

Born in Bankura, WB, Sushma Jain is essentially a self-taught artist. She completed her Foundation course at the Indian Art Institute — receiving the Gold medal and the Best Student Award; the Art Teacher’s Diploma at J.J. School of Art – where she stood first in Maharashtra and was awarded the Gold medal and the Best Student Award; completed the screen-printing course at the Sophia Polytechnic College, Mumbai, where she stood first in class — receiving two awards, one for Best Student and the other for Best Creativity; and completed 12 courses at the Central Saint Martin School of Art and Design, London. Sushma’s art is a reflection of her personality, her warmth and sensitivity, and is fuelled by a deep love for her family and close friends.
