Halle Berry Body Goals!

Halle Berry has been on a low-carb, healthy-fat ketogenic eating plan for years. ‘I hate the word “diet”, so I think of it as a lifestyle,’ says the 52-year-old actress, who credits it with ‘slowing down [her] ageing process’ and improving her energy and mental performance.

DIET

PRE-WORKOUT Coffee with two tablespoons of MCT oil, which can be found in coconut oil or ghee. LUNCH Steak or shredded chicken with dark greens like spinach or kale. SNACKS Organic vegies like celery and cucumber, organic berries or avocado. DINNER Keto chili made with vegies and ground grass-fed beef (no beans!), lamb chop with greens or salmon with olive salsa. BEFORE BED Glass of bone broth, a protein-packed sip that can aid in digestion as well as hair and skin health. ‘I like it with a little salt, pepper and crushed garlic,’ says Halle, who calls bone broth her ‘secret weapon’.

FITNESS

The star – who is mum to Nahla, 11, and five-year-old Maceo – works out with her personal trainer Peter Lee Thomas five times a week. They alternate between martial arts, boxing, yoga and ‘military training, [like] the Navy SEALs would do’, according to Peter.
