ACKNOWLEDGING THE SUCCESSES OF THE GAME INDUSTRY
The game industry recently acknowledged the achievements of members of Wildlife Ranching South Africa (WRSA) during the association’s conference by handing, among others, the Wildlife Rancher of the Year award to Tony and Richard Morton of Tembani Wildlife. Adding value through hunting and ecotourism, as well as the supply of venison as an integral part of the game industry, were among the topics discussed at the conference, which were also determining factors in evaluating the finalists for the awards. Read more about the topics that were discussed and awards that were received on p 134−139.

He personally investigated the lion and breeding industry in order to have his own informed opinion about it.
In future, GAME & HUNT is also going to focus on offering more articles to our bowhunters. Read the bowhunting article “Against all odds” by Steven Schwartz on p 36−37, in which he concludes that walking and stalking is the most difficult but also the most rewarding method of bowhunting. The first article in our new bowhunting column, “The Edge on Bowhunting”, appears on p 40−41 and focuses on preparation...
