I dette nummeret
Many of our favourite freshwater fish such as carp, yellowfish and mudfish will readily take home-made or commercial baits. Many of these fish, such as carp, particularly love various paste baits and especially cereal baits (e.g. corn, hemp, beans, peas, wheat flour, etc). There are, however, times when you want to use something different, something that might just catch the attention of larger, more skittish fish that are not quite convinced that your groundbaits are safe to eat. This is where natural baits are the way to go and although they are more effort to collect, it is the kind of bait you need when nothing else seems to work. As an alternative, join us also this month as we focus on the magnificence of catching yellowfish on dry fly; a spectacular and exciting way of fishing – visual and rewarding
