In this issue, we challenge the notion that home-packed lunches are healthier than their outside counterparts (pg 48). Our gastroenterologist sheds new light on a procedure that can determine the causes of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) with ever greater clarity (pg 44). We also look at how we can decrease fall risk among seniors (pg 46). Finally, as a hospital with the mission to ‘Serve All with Love’, we highlight some of our community outreach initiatives where we help and care for the vulnerable and the marginalized across all ages.
