opportunity that create a unique relationship between two nations a world
apart. Then, the perfect timing of neutrality in times of war that brought peace
and safety to tens of thousands of people who found refuge here. Time, again,
was on this city’s side when it found a niche market that allowed it not only
to survive but to thrive as a gaming Mecca and, hopefully, as a town that will
offer the best in hospitality and entertainment combined with a full range of
services, now that a new connection with Hengquin Island will allow us to
expand the territory a little. Perfect timing for the launch of Essential Macau,
backed up by a great team, allowed Macau – and us – to achieve an
international award at this year’s Asian Publishing Convention that proves that
quality without compromise will reward any project. And, as we smile with
undisguised pride, we reaffirm our commitment to quality and to continue to
bring you the best the world has to offer.
