As time passes slowly (or quickly, depending on your situation in life, I suppose), parents everywhere seemed to have somehow developed all sorts of coping mechanisms needed to lift themselves out of this current state of restricted movements, lack of activities for their kids, and boredom among their household. We cannot deny that at times, there is tremendous pressure placed upon parents to keep up with the now in terms of education, especially. What used to be largely and mainly duties carried out by teachers at school, preschools and kindergarten are now the responsibilities of parents, and some had absolutely no idea where to even begin! From this aspect alone, countless Malaysian parents had to become learners themselves, delving into unknown territories of internet savviness (for some), and taking the lead role of teaching school subjects that they thought they’d never had to get into again. While some may have taken to this like ballerinas to their tutus, others may have been exasperated at this whole development, and probably still are.
