Ajita Rajendra, Executive Chairman of the Board of A O Smith Corporation was named among the top 50 business persons of the year in 2016 by Fortune magazine and was ranked at number 34 amidst names such as Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and Tim Cook. He is the first Sri Lankan from a manufacturing background to be recognized by Fortune.
