For the first time ever, Sashi Rajamahendran, the third generation shareholder of the organization, and the Managing Director of the Group, gives an open and unabridged view of how the Capital Maharaja Organisation came to be, its 90 years of journey, and business beyond 2020 with the re-launch of the group as CMG: Capital Maharaja Group.

Chairman of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), Rohan Fernando has a massive task in his hands to take the telecommunication giant to the next level. He has already taken many initiatives to strengthen the relationship between the management and the staff, especially the many unions at SLT. Considering himself a disruptor he always ensures that questions are asked when they should be so that it would enable greater performance of the organization.

Sujeewa Rajapakse, Chairman, People’s Bank has immense experience in the financial sector. He emphasizes that the country should come first where all work towards economic development during this post COVID-19 period. The Chairman states that there are many opportunities and the country should be positive as we have a stable Government and a President with a clear vision.

Shiraz Lye, Managing Director/ Vice President Sales, IFS South Asia speaks on the operations and tough decisions taken by the company to sustain its stand.
He envisions IFS will become a company that all Sri Lankans will know and be proud of.

Mahinda Karunaratne, Founder/Chairman of Karunaratne and Sons has traversed on a path of hard work, commitment, and always trusting his inner ‘gut’ feeling. Upon handing over the business to his children in 2003, he engaged on a life of social service through the Karuna Trust, where he single-handedly manages all aspects of the operations.
