This month we opened with a focus on world-famed conductor Riccardo Chailly who is in Milan to conduct Mahler’s “Symphony of a Thousand” (21-23 November) considered one of the greatest pieces of music ever written.

November will also be marked by four fabulous exhibits at Palazzo Reale. People will be queuing up to see Pollock & The Irascibles on loan from the Whitney Museum in New York and Andy Warhol’s timeless masterpieces.

Shopping has never been so hot: French brand Hermès have opened a new boutique in via Montenapoleone while just around the corner iconic Italian brand Bottega Veneta has opened its second boutique in via Sant’Andrea, there’s no doubt that affluent tourists will be flocking to their doors.

There are also lots of new dining options just waiting to be discovered including starred chef Daniel Canzian’s new venue, trends are constantly in flux on the Milan dining scene.
