There’s never going to be a shortage of conflicts when it comes to the automotive world. Someone will be pitting a litre-class monster against a 600cc supersport, ICE vs EV, a classic car against its modern rendition, a Comet against an auto rickshaw… oh wait, that’s us!

This month is all about settling conflicts of all kinds; whether the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R can beat the BMW S 1000 RR at its own game or not, in a final attempt, or how different two mopeds can be despite sharing the Luna nametag, or how the ES300h matches up to the Lexus LS 400, or even how the Comet manages to have an upper hand against the countless auto-rickshaws that rule the roads of Mumbai.

Then we’ve got our regulars too; with the new Maruti Suzuki Swift, we are contemplating whether familiarity breeds contempt or not, and along with that, we’ve also got our hands on the Audi RS e-tron GT, the BMW X3, the BMW M340i, the biggest-ever Pulsar yet, the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE, and the electric scooter that seems to pack ‘rizz’, if you know what we mean.

Before we forget, we also joined forces with other publications and embarked on the AJAI Bharat Drive. AJAI, short for Automotive Journalists Association of India, is an initiative that works towards creating safer driving conditions in the country, and also helps groom the next generation of motoring scribes.
