The April 2016 issue of Business Goa celebrates the NRB Group presents Business Goa Awards that was held recently. An issue dedicated to the who’s who of Goa’s business. In our regular sections we focus on the Goa State Budget; and also on the Excise Duty imbroglio of gold jewellers. We spotlight on first generation entrepreneurs – Gaurish Dharwadkar of Travel Shop; and Shekhar Sardessai of Kineco, who speaks to Business Goa as the recently installed Chairman of CII Goa Council. Pyro Electric is a major national player in the field of sensory instrumentation, while Chicken Man is the brand to watch out for. In our Professional Dossier section, we have written about Dr Jorson Fernandes, who is a doctor, trainer and committed Rotarian. We have also reviewed Copper Leaf, a multi-cuisine restaurant recently opened at Porvorim.
